Sean Paul Joseph: Born March 7, 1979. He used to be known as Sean Paul, butto avoid being confused with the Jamaican reggae artist with the same name he has assumed the stage name Sean P.
Sean P hails from Decatur, Georgia where he crossed paths with his artistic counterpart J-Bo when they both attended Miller Grove Middle School. They later formed the YoungBloodZ performing their own class of southern rap and crunk. The YoungBloodZ released “Against Da Grain” in 1999, “U-Way” (How We Do It) is the best known single from this album.
The YoungBloodZ went on to make two more albums: “Drankin’ Patnaz” released in 2003 and, 2005 brought the release of “Ev’rybody Know Me”. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, The tentative title of the YoungBloodZ third album is “Bad Influence”, andshould see a release in early 2009. Sean P has a considerable body of work along with YoungBloodZ projects including J-Bo. “Hood Anthems” was released by Sean Pin 2007, and he is currently working on his new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” due to be released early 2009, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
