Sean Paul Joseph: Born March 7, 1979. He used to go by Sean Paul, butto avoid confusion with the Jamaican reggae artist of the same name he now goes by the stage name Sean P.
Sean P is originally from Decatur, Georgia where he met up with friend and collaborator J-Bo when they both attended Miller Grove Middle School. This evolved into the musical partnership the YoungBloodZ creating their own brand of southern rap and crunk. The YoungBloodZ released “Against Da Grain” in 1999, “U-Way” (How We Do It) is the best known single from this album.
The YoungBloodZ went on to make two more albums: “Drankin’ Patnaz” released in 2003 and, the 2005 release of “Ev’rybody Know Me”. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, The YoungBloodZ third album is tentatively titled “Bad Influence”, andis due to be released in early 2009. Sean P has don a lot of other work along with YoungBloodZ projects accompanying J-Bo. “Hood Anthems” was released by Sean Pin 2007, and he is currently working on his new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” with a projected 2009 release, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
