Sean Paul Joseph: Born March 7, 1979. He originally went by Sean Paul, butto avoid being mistakenly identified with the Jamaican reggae artist Sean Paul he has changed his name to Sean P.
Sean P is originally from Decatur, Georgia where he met his partner in crime J-Bo at Miller Grove Middle School. This evolved into the musical partnership the YoungBloodZ bringing their own style of rap/crunk. In 1999 “Against Da Grain” was released by the YoungBloodZ, the best known single from this album being “U-Way” (How We Do It).
With the YoungBloodZ Sean P went on to make two more albums: The 2003 release “Drankin’ Patnaz” and, “Ev’rybody Know Me” was released in 2005. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, The YoungBloodZ third album is tentatively titled “Bad Influence”, andis due to be released in early 2009. Sean P has a considerable body of work along with YoungBloodZ projects along side J-Bo. Along with other artists he released “Hood Anthems”in 2007, and he is currently working on his new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” due to be released early 2009, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
