Sean Paul Joseph: Born March 7, 1979. He used to go by Sean Paul, butto avoid confusion with the Jamaican reggae artist of the same name he now goes by the stage name Sean P.

Sean P grew up in Decatur, Georgia where he met up with his artistic counterpart J-Bo at Miller Grove Middle School. This evolved into the musical partnership the YoungBloodZ performing their own style of southern rap and crunk. The YoungBloodZ released “Against Da Grain” in 1999, which is best known by the single “U-Way” (How We Do It).

Sean P went on to make two more albums with the YoungBloodZ: The 2003 release “Drankin’ Patnaz” and, “Ev’rybody Know Me” was released in 2005. With Jeremy Geffen Entertainment, “Bad Influence” is the tentative title of the YoungBloodZ third album, andis due to be released soon. Sean P has done a lot of his own projects in addition to his YoungBloodZ projects accompanying J-Bo. Sean P released “Hood Anthems” along with other artistsin 2007, and he is currently working on his new solo project with Jeremy Geffen Entertainment titled “Very Necessary” with a projected 2009 release, includes the new single “I’m A Hoodstar”.
